Walking therapy offers the opportunity to speak with a qualified therapist while walking outdoors in a natural setting. For many people, walking side by side can feel more relaxed and less intense than sitting face to face, helping conversations flow more naturally.
The gentle rhythm of walking, combined with time outdoors, can help people think more clearly, reflect more freely and begin to process what is on their mind.
Feel more comfortable talking while moving rather than sitting still
Spend much of your time indoors and value time outdoors
Find nature calming or grounding
Are managing stress, anxiety or mental overload
Would like a different setting for reflection and conversation
Like all therapy, the focus is on providing a safe and supportive space to explore whatever you are experiencing.
A different way to begin. If walking therapy feels like a good fit, you can contact us to find out more or arrange a first session.
